'MYSTIC Africa' is Jaclyn's response to her time in Uganda. These mixed-media pieces began in 2008 and have slowly come to life through her move back to the US. She started by printing ten black and white photographs on matte fine art paper and built the imagery on top with layers of screen printing, paint, India ink, colored pencil and collage. These pieces are meant to describe the soul behind each person and landscape as Jaclyn imagines it.
